Employee Guidance and Counseling
The program is designed to provide a service of strictly confidential pastoral care and guidance with referral service when necessary, to all client company employees and immediate families, without regard to differing religious affiliations or belief.
Work Site Visitation
The Workforce Chaplain will engage in weekly walk-through visitation on each plant shift, to become familiar with both employees and the work environment. This visit maintains chaplaincy visibility and strengthens employee/chaplain relationships. Consistency and development of trust are paramount to utilization of the service.
Employee requests for Lunch/Break time Bible studies will be referred to Management for discussion and permission.
The Chaplain’s business card will be given to employees on request and telephone contact information made available for emergency situations that may arise. Appointments for guidance sessions may be made by phone or briefly at on-site visits.
Teaching and Personal Life Skills
Teaching and personal life skills training will come in the form of a classroom or workshop learning environment. The sessions can be conducted at your company location at your request, or independently at a neutral site. General topics for learning can be specifically for your employees only or one in which employees from other companies may participate as well.
This service is of no additional cost to your company.
WORKPLACE: Your Chaplain is always available for Plant/Workplace emergencies.
HOSPITAL: The Workforce Chaplain will function as your representative in the event of illness or traumatic injury that requires hospitalization for employee or family. Job related fears and insecurities will be laid to rest by this expression of Company concern and your employees in general will be impressed and comforted by observing the Chaplain at work in everyday emergencies.
The Company Chaplain is the perfect person to represent concerned Management in this event. It is a time for spiritual help and guidance, a time a life can be forever changed. Your Workforce Chaplain will make every effort to help the individual to come through this difficult time with hope for the future.
Workforce Chaplains are ordained and licensed to perform the marriage ceremony for your employees. They are typically very flexible about location and ceremony within an acceptable context. Because of the serious nature of this commitment, pre-marital counseling is a pre-requisite.
When this inevitable need arises people prefer to have someone familiar conduct services and offer grief counseling. Not all employees are connected with a local church and your Chaplain will be extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping the family with arrangements and details, and officiating at the Service when asked.
A UNIQUE FEATURE OF Workforce Program is round-the-clock availability. We will work with your company to assure an easy procedure and response time system is put in place, guaranteeing that Workforce Ministry will indeed be your work place EAP of choice.
Monthly Activity Reports
Once a month Workforce Ministry will provide you with a full report of the Workforce Chaplain’s activites at your company location(s). Each report is broken down by the number of hours of service per category and can be provided by location or to a central company department.
While reports are numerically spelled out, no names or specifics are provided, to protect the employee’s trust in the Chaplain and the Company from unnecessary involvement in the personal lives of their workforce. Reports are typically submitted to the Human Resource Department; however, dual reporting is available upon request.
